OAMPS (the Oil Agents Mutual Provident Society) was established in Australia in 1976 and launched in the UK ten years later. The OAMPS Group was purchased by Wesfarmers, a large Australian conglomerate, in November 2006.

Originally specialising primarily in the petrochemical industry, OAMPS has diversified into a leading UK and international commercial and personal lines insurance broking group. Operating numerous specialist schemes and a Lloyds broking division with additional complimentary services for health & safety, training and environmental consultancy services.

A consistent policy of growth through business development and acquisition has now positioned OAMPS as one of the UK’s leading insurance brokers.

With the financial stability of ownership by Wesfarmers, one of the southern hemisphere’s biggest companies, we are ‘key partners” with many of the worlds largest insurance companies enabling us to obtain highly competitive terms and excellent cover.
